About Jennifer Teixeira LMT

Hello, I am Jennifer Teixeira LMT owner of Humboldt Women's Massage.

 

I facilitate resilience, renewal, and rejuvenation in the midst of aging, honoring the sacred essence of life.  I am highly skilled in working with a variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and I have over 20 years experience working as a Massage Therapist. 

 

When I was 7 months pregnant with my son I had a moment where it had become painful to walk, and the pain was in my hips. I couldn't work and I could barely walk. It was suggested by a friend that I get a massage for my hips. After the massage I was sore, but the next day I felt freedom of movement in my hips and the stagnation had been alleviated. I was hooked! Massage has been a passion of mine since. 

 

I studied at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville California, and eventually found myself in Makawao, Maui learning more about this ancient form of healing so that I can bring that Healing to you. 

 

Massage is not just for the back and shoulders, but the hips carry all of your upper body as well. My goal is to include the whole body in a Customized Massage that will help you to feel more flexible and invite the energy to flow unburdened in your body.
